There is a problem with the HDTVs with the built-in satellite receiver...

There is no Video Out to go to the VCR, so you can't record anything!

FWK & Audiofn, Thanks for the input. I bought the "extended service plan" from Best Buy and they say the convergence thing is included. Sounds like I should have that done just to be safe.

Check mate make sure you get the Disk Video Essentials you will get a lot of info from there. It is torture to watch but if you pay attention you will be very happy with the end result picture and sound you get.
