Those were not stock 1075's. They were modified to 1200+.

My 46 OL came from the factory, with the GPS recall 124.7. And it is a totally loaded 46, with Mahogany wood in the cabin, refrig, generator, AC, Home theatre, you name it, it's on there. Stock factory 1075's. I can tell you too, I can run that boat with people and gear, 120 mph, without trouble, and very stable. I bought the boat because I loved the cabin, cockpit, looks, size, etc. Have to tell you from personal experience, it is fast. Hit the throttles at 80, and it literally sets you back, pretty cool. Even at 100 mph, it gets on the last step, it takes off. Cool experience. May not hold the kilo record, but has awesome drivable speed. My 2 cents.

In my opinion the fastest hull would be found running equal length boats (47lightning, 37 OL ) with equal power, same drives, and see who is actually faster. Adding horsepower will make a brick fast.
