I need to plan a trip to get some riding in .... Lets hear it ???

JB4Boyne 02-05-2008 03:27 PM

Perlmudder 02-05-2008 03:34 PM

went from 10 inches of snow on friday/saturday to flooding here yesterday and today. (guelph, ontario)

Gladhe8er 02-05-2008 03:36 PM

I have my first trip planned to Tug Hill next Wed-Fri. It looks like it is going to get real cold. All they need is a little snow to get things back to mint shape.

bill63 02-05-2008 03:36 PM

Kalkaska mi (blue bear trail) rode 200 miles last wekend trails were flat with a geat base. best ride of the season.

Audiofn 02-05-2008 03:39 PM

I think that Norther Maine is getting all snow today and snow showers about every other day. They did loose a LOT of snow the last two weeks but the riding last weekend was still good.

Magic Medicine 02-05-2008 05:58 PM

Rode between Gaylord and Cadillac Michigan last weekend, plenty of snow and flat trails.

That's the spirit!

We've had totally 2" or so but alot of rain - but it's warmer than ever! About 40-45F most of the winter so far, it usually is about 10-20F...

Hopefully the summers will have that same increase in temp! :cool-smiley-026:

otis311 02-06-2008 06:48 AM

Upstate NY is getting 6-12" this afternoon. It should include Tug Hill and the Old Forge area also

CAP071 02-06-2008 07:07 AM

Leo- have you had any bites on the Saber? I am probably one of many that would love to have that boat. If you want trades I could trade, my 24 Challenger Super V with big power, my pontoon, my 97 Vette, my 3 year old German Shorthair (steady to wing and shot), and a couple of used Nextel Phones, what do you think?:D

Well .... sounds like a group of us are gonna head up to Gaylord next weekend 2/15 - 17 .

Any recommendations on where to stay , and where to drink would be greatly appreciated !!!!

fountain4play 02-06-2008 03:24 PM

We have about 6" of new white stuff, if you want we can ship it your way....I'm tired of this "Global Cooling"....

NKissau 02-06-2008 03:31 PM

Plenty of places to stay right on the trail. Go to the Big Buck Brewery to drink. Big "up north" lodge that makes their own beer, also have good food. It's right on the trail as well, so you don't have far to go home. There will be about 5 cars in the parking lot and about 100 sleds. Were getting pounded right now. Calling for upto 10" tonight.

GLH 02-06-2008 03:33 PM

There are a few bars that are within easy riding distance. I don't know what you are looking for, but a few cold ones suits me fine.

Got about 8 inches last night.

Prostreeter 02-07-2008 06:27 AM

You want snow? You like to sled? Come on out to Colorado. We are 135% above average for high country snowfall. This is the first time in 15 years we've had this much snow.If it didn't snow the rest of the winter we will have accumulated more snow at this point than all of last year.March and April are the snowiest months by the way.

We go sledding every weekend and go to areas only people dream about or see on TV.We only deep powder ride at about 13k elevation in about 15 to 18 feet of snow.Talk about fun.

Any of you flat landers want to head west in the next couple months PM me and I'll show you some riding.

NKissau 02-07-2008 06:40 AM
