I will definitely do the survey thing. I have only been a member here for a few days and already had some guys offering to check some boats for me.... this is a great group of people here. I am honored to be a part of this community. Someday I will be able to offer help just like everyone has offered me. Thanks again guys. I've made my decision.... it is a 27' or 28' single big motor with some sort of power adder.
Now I am seriously hooked on this stuff..... already like an addict. LOL

I've been wanting a boat for a while, and this time the urge is just too strong to resist. LOL.

I use to be heavy into the Texas racing scene (The Clash and a couple of other races) and still keep up with whats going on. I was/am in the same situtation your are in. Started building a drag radial car a few years ago when it was still affordable (build a car for less than 80K). Now to be competitive you need to spend at least 125k (basically they're outlaw 10.5 cars on a radial). I still crew for a couple of guys but, just couldn't justify spending that kind of money for 7 sec. of fun at a time. Got back into boats and now can play all weekend and still have cash leftover on Monday morning. Shoot me an email ([email protected]) and we can talk some more. Might know where there is a boat you may be interested in.
