it was simple, i called ACE and gave them my itenerary and dates and they sent it to underwriting, they told me the amount. I was afraid it bieing big wind season there that it would be a ton of money, but wasnt.

The CIGARETTE TIGER should do great in this type of event . A true offshore powerboat in true OFFSHORE conditions.

It's just a simple fact...California represents when it comes to real offshore racing!! Over 20 teams answered the call when they said "we're bringing back the historic 'Rum Run Race'".

20 teams stepped up and ran it. Sad state of affairs when the birth place and mecca for offshore powerboating can't get even half those numbers to sign up and run a once in a lifetime race!

Brad, you're right...Move back to Cali and run with the real offshore power boaters that take pride and honor in running in a race that has so much historic value!!

Hey offshoredrillin, did they say they would cover you in the race or just for the weekend out there....last I checked, I wouldn't be covered in a race...

Hey Tank, we're supposed to be in Maui from the 18th through 25th, but if I can switch some dates around to later.... lets drag the guns out there....
I have Shannon almost talked in to it....
you only live once....

Tom, Tim and I looked into it a couple years back. Shipping over to Hawaii is SPENDY!!! And then theres the major issues with their equivalent of the coastal commision. There's a reason why you don't see any offshore boats in Hawaii
