Colin (Cigarette39) has the original Long Shot down in BVI. Post some pics Colin!!!

As for the boat in question (Cashbrain's, in pics) while working the Chicago Boat Show back in 2010, I met the guy who bought it. At that time, it was put in storage until he had the funds to do it right. Hopefully, he's get it done. Would love to see it completed.

The boat in Smarty's post is the first Cigarette that Bill Elswick race in 1979 and 1980 to win the 1980 National Championship. In the third photo (Long Shot Trailer) the guy in the cockpit with the white shirt is my friend Harold Grady of Rahilly/Grady Racing Engines and now Miss Geico Racing. The guy in the red shirt at the front of the boat is me.

That would be Joey Rodrigues and Jack Stutteville in HOT SHOT 29. In 1983, they would run an aluminum Cougar Cat named "The Collection."
