We ran from TC to Boyne City last year to check out the hardware and Lake Michigan was the flattest I have ever seen it! Hung out for a few hours and on the way back it had kicked up just a bit! :cool-smiley-011:

We use the Boyne City Municipal Marina. We move all the seasonal boaters out and take over the place. :evilb:

I have a white boat with a single blue stripe. Would that be acceptable?

JB4Boyne 04-08-2008 08:55 AM

The way we market it, all of Northwest Michigan love it. We have 1000s of people, young and old come out to check out the boats and watch start.
It's really nice when you meet some elderly ladies on the street and they ask you when the thunder boats are coming to town. They all say those boats are so pretty and they are such nice young men. Except for that Wrinkleface guy!

Yes it is acceptable. You don't even need the blue stripe.

Hey Buddy,
We have pictures of your boat. Don't blame us because you couldn't get your crew to keep their clothes on once you were 1 mile off shore. And because of that we can't share the pictures. :evilb:

I had the pleasure of attending that run last year with the Outerlimits Team, and I must say the event was great. Great location for boating, great weather, great people.
