I just got back from a small local boat show where I crawled around on a 28' Challanger. It had some nice features and some unconventional features not normally found on a "Go-Fast" boat like a power telescoping stern light and smartcraft guages. The Gel coat was slightly sub par but the engine room was very well rigged. As I talked with the sales guy I commented on the leap of faith I would have to take if I was to purchase a Challanger. I didn't realize how true that statement was when I made it.

holy smokes here it is going out of business Imagine making a deal on one of these boats just to come home and read about it going bankrupt. Glad I didn't

I hope the employees make out okay and find jobs.

So should I give the sales guy a call and give him the news?

Probably their biggest production boat was the 28. It was the main boat being used by the LOTO water patrol for a long time. They are now being phased out with 29 Donzi CC's.

"Taking Care of Business in a flash"

It was Elvis' logo.

Elvis even had it on the tail of his private jet

I've got a 28 and love it. 2004 model. May become a collectors item! Yeah, right.
Sad to see any company go out of business, especially one in the marine industry.
