Used to be C&G Cobra. Can't remember who the C was but G is Randy.

It's going to be tough for a 454 to put out close to 700 hp with iron heads unless it's running 12.5:1 compression and spinning 7000 rpm. The exhaust wouldn't support that kind of horsepower- either via flow, scavenging or in supporting that much cam without reversion issues. 6000 rpm on 9:1 with a cam that idles is going to ballpark you in the 475-525 range.

It's good to hear you've gotten renewed interest and good news on the motors though.

I think Im going to keep it, I have fixed alot of little thing the guy who restored it missed, and the fact that the motor is good gives me less work. If someone offers the right price Ill sell it, but i think for now I am going to finish it.

You don't want to have to chance your Screen Name do you? You would have to become "Shoulda kept my Apache Brave"... Plus, I haven't had my ride yet...

Yes there is surface rust on the heads and intake, but the cam and lifter, and rockers are perfect, They have not been run in awhile.
