It is a firepower by nutek. Trying to figure out if you can change the rev limiter or if it has a rev limiter.. Also is it any good?
I'm tempted to through a GM hei w a accel super coil in it w some weights. Do HEI 's foul up in the moisture? I wonder why people aren't running them..
Thanks....Chad

If I put an hei. I may have to make a new oil cooler bracket..and tune it in and it will take time to do that..so right now I'm torn..Hoping someone can tell me what to do with this..My engine builder said he would like to see 5800..He is a ways from here and I would like to figure this out on my own and not take a lot of his time with it ..He does the engine building. That's enough

We ran those years ago. There is a rev-limiter but it is not adjustable.
Mercury actually used them for a brief time if I remember correclty. Holley bougt them out.
