Kaama's 540's dyno pull

I understand you had out-of-state business. I hope it went well. You feel like meeting some of us at the Holland American Legion for a pop/beer/drink Wednesday around 5:30? By the way, Cigarette39 has a post to you on page 2, general section.

Na, no need to post them. I just wanted to know where we were with the 741 cam. I do need to call you some time as Bruce had some questions he wanted me to ask you. Suprisingly they were carb related!

kaama82, this is KAAMA (I'm at JimV's shop and using his computer) we dyno'd this engine at Tom Earhart's shop. He's got a lot of experience with marine engines and has been dynoing marine engines for about 25 years or so. He has done some dyno testing fop Merc in the past as well. I'm very pleased with the numbers! Mark

Fred when Kaama and I were talking sunday he was thinking he would gear up to 1.36 and maybe be able to run some props he has....28 or 30 pitch I think...

On it's best day (85 degrees and 900 ft elev.) 1/3 tanks (about 25 gals.), 1.36 stock Bravo 1 with Imco 2" shortie, Bronson Hill 26 pitch Bravo 1 @ 5500. The shortie got me another 3.5 mph for a total of 89.7 GPS. Boat weighs about 4500 to 4700 wet.
On the rest of your question I'm sorry to say I don't know.
Why do you ask?
