The IMCO shorty is a fast lower then the merc and is a much better buy for the money. The last test that was done in Miami the IMCO lower was 8 MPH faster then the merc.
You never know until you try one but they run different on ever hull.
The new skeg design on merc. is bigger then IMCO and can have a drag factor and result in being slower. For more info and pricing on both you can contact me at ([email protected])

Hey Mikey, Talk to me about the new Merc drive, Will it handle all the torque from the KE 675 (690 FT LBS 3000-5400 RPM)? I liked the new IMCO SC but it goes back to the gear set, are these any better? Thanks, Robbie

Jassman&Defy'nGravity!
Good Morning Gentlemen, I will give you both a jingle via phone and educate you on the differences between both drives. I can sell 4 cheaper than 2. It sounds like Steve Snider is on the ball with the Imco lower housing pricing. $1,700.00 each is a good price. $1,100.00 is WAY BELOW COST
