I though Inbev's business plan was to minimize everything. Was told that each year's budgets have to go up LESS than inflation. So each year they make more money.. thats great for the shareholders.

However, what about all of the motorsports and sporting events that AB sponsors or participates in? On top of the charitys, I think it would be a huge blow to everything if Inbev stops it all, and why wouldn't they?

I think there will be some cutbacks in marketing, but AB's presence in sports marketing will still be strong. They didn't buy AB to lose money, and AB has a strong track record of marketing that works.

Besides, InBev learned a costly lesson when they bought Stella Artois. After they took over, they cut Stella's marketing budget in half. Then the sales tanked so they boosted their spending close to what it was when they took over. They cannot afford to make the same mistake this time around.

Any market share lost in the U.S. will be made up worldwide X2.

The cuts will come later down the line when everyone has moved onto other news, lots of doubled up management.
Auggie had plenty of opportunity to grow, but he reacted to slow.

All Bud products give me a headache within an hour of drinking them. Anyone have a clue why this is? I'm not alone.

I think you might need to drink them faster, that way the headache won't show up until the next morning...
