I like the Ice from sonic... also available at hospitals. But as far as the machine goes I think they are way more expensive

I have an under the counter GE monogram unit downstairs as well as upstairs..makes 35 pounds a day..if space is important it only is 15" wide. The only problem I see is that the ice is that of the smaller kind..so when put in a cocktail the melting starts rather quickly..:D

Mark if you are going to buy a under counter one stick with the Hoshizaki,U-line,scotsman or the marvel. I personally would get the hoshizaki. I have never had a problem with any that I have sold/ They are also the ones that make the Sonic ice.

call me for a hook up price:)
If you need a pump its about 150.00 extra
This unit will be beter for coolers because it makes a large cube and melts slowly

We have a Manitawoc outside. Makes 400lbs per day. Everybody comes over to fill their coolers on the weekend. Of course they have to bring beer as well:ernaehrung004:

I have a Manitowic as well. Got it when a local place was going out of business.
