Freeze plug might have popped out. Broken hose maybe? Does not sound like a big repair, you are just frustrated with the boat for wrecking your weekend. Fix it and it will make you smile again.

Clean the bilge, GOOD. put it on the hose, start it and get your *ss in there and find out where it is leaking from. You will loose 10X what it will cost to fix it if it sells at all like this. Probaly as simple as a freeze plug, split hose, or cooler.

I cant find anything on bammarine.com that shows the back of the motor to see whats back there. i know i got all the plugs out so if its really a water cooler or something back there, thatd make sense..

I get back this weekend. I may tear into it monday and see what the hell is up with this thing..

either way, the next accessory for it is a "FOR SALE" sign.

I hope so.. Gonna buy a long handled mirror and a flashlight so I can see whats under there and track it down. With the oil everywhere, the vibration from being on the trailer and the water coming out of the back, i guess i just feared the worst! Ill keep my fingers crossed and see what happens..

Keep us posted. My partners 32 sunsation has twin 496s'. Trouble free for five years. On the 4th he limps into the cove we hangout in pouring water out of the rear of the engine. Lots o water. Fifteen minutes later we discovered a ruptured hose feeding the intake, or exiting the intake. Ten dollars and a trip to the auto parts store for flex hose, problem solved. took longer for me to go get the hose than to fix. He was thankful it happened before Jammin on the James. Hopefully a quick cheap fix.
