THIS SUCKS!!! boat accident in okc, 38 formula
#15
Last month I was towing when I lost a bearing on front drivers side of a triple axle, was able to pull over before I lost the rim,
and then ratchet strapped (more like about 4 straps!) the axle up to the trailer 'I' beam and limped home with 2 wheels on one side and 3 on other side.

I know the boat very well. It recently sold, and was on a 353 trailer. Because the 357 is significantly longer than the 353, it was sitting way too far back and likely blew one of the rear tires. It's a shame - especially for the new owner! Hope nobody was hurt!

It's usually not one incident that leads to an occurence like this. Most times it's several.
F250 is marginal at best on something that big. Someone mentioned it's a new boat for the owner. Maybe not much experience on towing a boat of this size?
For the transom straps to have broken they would have been mere decorations. A 2" 10K strap would have held. All they have to do is hold the trailer onto the boat's bottom.
Pretty obvious it jacknifed. Why? I'd suspect trailer brake issues.
I've been in that exact situation so I know how it feels. It's a sickening feeling.
