man i want a sutphen so bad, a 30 or 33 with some nice 525 efi's with some goodies, nice reliable boat with just the right power, mmmmmmmmmmm. im sure it wouldnt be as nice as a 38 or 41 or 46 etc, but i know they will hold there own in there size class without a question. id even love a 26 single 525 i bet that thing would rip circles in hard water around my 26 checkmate and my fathers 25 outlaw. man i want one, anyone have a few bucks i can borrow. lol ps, some of the boats thus far on here a super sweet as well!! |

Gotta say sutphens in thier size and class are tough to beat but thats not new news.
They have been known for being a killer rough water boat for very long time. The new sutphen line up Ritchie is working on should turn some heads in the very near future too. |
Based upon personal experience in a variety of Apaches, Cigarettes, Magnums and Fountains, in around 6ft seas, I would rate the boats as follows:
1st: Apache 47 2nd: Apache 41 3rd: Cigarette 39 Unlimited In seas under 6ft there is a lot less to choose between these three which stand above the rest. |
