Are you sure about that tow rating on the Navigators? I towed my 5000 lb Active Thunder without any problems at all. My 2001 manual says the 4x2 has a gcwr of 14,500 lbs and a trailer weight range of 8900 lbs. The 4x4 gcwr of 14,000lbs and 8100 lbs trailer weight. These are all with 17 inch wheels.

These should be posted in the new Galleries section where they will remain permanently. The gallery is located in the left margin above the BB Profile button. OSO

Hey CheckMateF1 - Are my eyes playing tricks or is that a short bed Dualie? Wild looking. Never seen one with a short bed!

CheckmateF1's truck is a shortbed dually; very hard to find. It looks really tough from the side view; like it is ready to pull a wheelie.

Yes it's a shortbed. Apparently the previous owner special ordered it to tow his RV. Towed it once then got sick.

I took it back to the dealer for a state inspection and the guys in service said they have never seen one before. They thought it may be custom built not from the Ford factory. But it looks all factory to me.

Anyway, I love it!
Thanks for the kind words!
Eric
