Crazyhorse,
100 is alot faster on a small cat than a big one, I've been 100+ on viscious one's 32 Viscious cat and it's alot more relaxing than my 26 redline, and I've been 100+ on a few 33 and 39 Ocean express, the 39 is a walk in the park, you wont even spill your drink, well almost. Here's a pic of a friends boat, he's not an oso member, but an occasional lurker, but it runs just under 110. Awesome ride though, 110 and no worries in this 40 hustler. It's in the hustler for sale section, and the twin 1000's sound is so awesome. There are a ton of fast v-hulls on lake st clair, and alot of cats, mostly ocean express, and awesome's but a few eliminators, skaters, and a really cool looking all white apachae cat, and a few redlines, and I see alot of race boats out testing during the week. It always brings a smile to my face when I'm home and hear the scream of something going fast!!

When it was last in the water 102 mph on my 99 32 Active thunder v-hull 500hp's with prochargers at 5-6psi my previous boat a 28 skater it averaged 107 (i think from memory) in the worlds in Biloxi in 97 ( I think the timing gear is wrong though because I think the boat would only hit 104 or105 tops it was more for rough water) As for Fastest I have ever been is in Al Burn's 40 Skater called Out of Control on lake Meade last summer 153 mph (gps) what a rush.

My previous boat was a 24' Elimnator Daytona w/ 2x 2.5's EFI "Massaged" by John Bishop @ "Smilin Jacks" Marina in Jupiter Fl. The best MPH I saw in it was 106-108. The fastest I have ever been is 117 MPH in a 25' Talon.

Ryan you have forgotten more than i know about the boats that have competed, but i thought we ran against a Redline named Speedco or Speed-something in the 2000 worlds. It ran and handled well whatever it was.

Default Didn't mean to offend!

Rob, I am pretty sure that your boat won the central division championship a time or two. I am POSITIVE that that particular hull never won the worlds though. Just for comparision I believe my 24 Skater to be in the 3000lbs range rigged.
Ted, I raced the Speed-Co boats at the worlds a couple of years ago. It was owned by Dave Thomas of SpeedWear, it is a 28 SKATER. The boat you are thinking of was Catastophic a 28 RedLine out of Mich. two very nice guys ran it. It was the only thing even close to as fast as a 28 Skater, it made a Kilo pass in NC at over 115.
