I meant to grab that race brochure last night, but forgot. The Catastrophic boat is local to this area, it was built after mine, and has a rounded winshield, where as mine is more squared off. and I think his is a 29 footer. 26scarab from this board is a friend of the owners, and has been on a few thrill rides in the boat. I have met the owner of the boat at Viscious one's shop in the past, and he's a real nice guy. It was wierd seeing another redline, there's not alot of them out there. Here's a pic of Catastrophic from GLSCS web site.

I really like the outboards, easy maintenence, easy to work on, cheaper to fix, and alot cheaper to rebuild. here's a fast recipie:

(1) light cat
(2) eggbeaters
Mix thoroughly until windburnt!!

We did a 24 with a 600 that did well over 100. That is the smallest boat I have ever thought of doing over 100 in.

I should be back in the 100 MPH club soon. My HTM sr-24 ran 100.2 with a ProCharger with a sick 502. I now have a 540 and plan on adding a blower if I can work out the details on the price.
