For what it's worth, I think running up the East River, through Hells Gate and into Long Island Sound and out to LaMottas is better than running up the Hudson and back down the Harlem etc..[/QUOTE]

Thats plan sam!

Frank, we only have a few boats no? I have 4.

So far I think I have 4 boats, maybe a 5th.

I wonder if we should check in with LaMotta's ahead of time once we have a final boat count.

How long is that run? And if heading up from S. Jersey near Philly where can I launch at and not get left behind. Not familiar with the area. My boat is only a 25' with a cruise speed between 45-50. With a 55 gal tank so I only have a range of about 80 miles and have some fuel to spare. Would like to come up and check it out though.

You could launch where Pro1 is going , Liberty landing in jersey city , atlantic highlands jersey . It can get a bit rough for a 25 crossing from jersey to the verrazano. If you launch at perth amboy , you can easily take the back around staten island. It's just like the upper delaware .

oh , from either of the 3 you'd have enough fuel , there is fuel on the water though.
