That's why in the NFL when they look at a play in the booth, they look at many different angles, one way it looks like receiver was out of bounds and show another camera angle and he was inbounds. Just a thought!

Point of clarification: " ... which has State Police and Fish and Wildlife Commission Patrol Boats observing the run, as well as fire department boats providing on-water safety services, will do everything in its power to make sure everyone abides by the rules.
How much it costs, I have no idea. But as I understand it the FPC does have to pay for the services. Suggestions of anything unethical seem unwarranted to me. But by all means, if yoaroiu come across anything solid please send it my way.

matt I know your reporting the story but if FPC sets a 150 mph speed limit which State police and FWC are observing then aren't they basically condoning those speeds, right ?
heres my issue for this non-race event with probably more boats over that can run 150mph than actually racing in KW. as someone who pays FL taxes I would hate to see my tax dollars used to patrol or rescue someone that paid money to a PR association to drive their boat on public waterways at speeds up to 150 mph. but hea this is great news, i'll be running all around ft myers now at 140+ since FL now provides on-water safety services.

Yes but they still had the option to throttle back but they were too worried about Pure Platinum getting further ahead. This was way too close IMO esp the boat behind Brad and Jeff
