As it turns out......"likes" wins over "views" to the card stop of 1000.

No one did. All I said was enjoy your winterizing. So sensitive to my sarcasm. Glad you have a car (and chains).

Yep, that sounds fair to all the guys that live 1000++ miles from an ocean or gulf.

I know that would surely help draw big donations to those charities in Atlanta, LOTO or similar. (sarcasm)

At a true poker run, 95%(or more) of the boats run more than 60mph, much less 40. You kill the core of the participants if you can't at least run 60++.

Maybe you can pitch that 40mph crap to the America's Cup SAILBOATS that were just running in excess of 50mph. LOL

A ski rope is 75 ft long and that makes a decent minimum distance at normal speeds; but at these extreme speeds more separation would be nice, and is required in some areas.

How about "Off Shore Only", and not in the crowded, calm, lakes, rivers and streams?

Sounds like someone is too used to Lake Austin and wakeboard boats

The "Support our Troops" poker run at LOTO has had a 65mph speed limit the last few years and has had 100+ boats every year and have been able to get charitable contributions of over 20K each year................those numbers seem kind of successful to me.

And I'm not suggesting a 65mph, I'm just pointing out that a speed limit shouldn't have that much to do with a runs success.

But then maybe not, after all I thought these runs were supposed to be for a good cause, instead of showing how big your ....... is, everyone fill in the space ....... with whatever word you would like, JMO.
