Any bets that the wheel with the broken studs had a problem and they dropped the boat. Then went and got some tools and ripped the wheel off and took the boat to it's final destination.

That would explain the sawgrass area sighting and a different end locale.

you can do that hitting/jumping a curb while turning....

my original truck suspicion may be off just a tad, but there ARE 3 eyewitnesses that saw the unhook, and can ID the truck and the driver, right down to describing the color and style of the ballcap he was wearing, and a couple more *secret* clues... got one good camera shot.. today is D-day to return the stuff and then it's up to detective's and Fed's now...
