Right on........... mine came in at 10,900 with Turbines and 1/2 tanks.

The Turbines weigh 456 lbs each.
My PSI Blower motors weighed 990 each.


I would say the 40 is faster.
Bud Select ran what 210 in the 368?

More power less weight = faster (in the perfect world)

Throw some real water in the equation and the 46 will dominate.

That's weight sounds right. My 46 is about 13000 pounds with piston power. The 40 Skater is faster on flat water and the 46 can go faster in rough water.

40:

LOA 40

boat weighed 8800lbs per Peter fully rigged with n/a mercury racing engines when it left Skater,It is a full carbon/kevlar race, add weight of the blowers, extra carb, intercooler, per sidemaybe 400lbs more each,It might be closer to 9600lbs. I'll just run her to the scales when its finished being updated

Anthony now thats more like it Bro ..... And did the weight go up when added the new glass work , new wrap windshield , new paint ???? or does it stay the same .... I thought Nunez aka HOT PURSUIT had the lightest 40 Peter ever layed up

Byrdmans 46 went 192.I never heard of a 40 going that fast.
