Funny you posted this today.I just got home from pulling the motors out of my buddies 1987 32 Tempest.What do you need?

I just like the boats. A friend of mine has one and I was aboard it once and it seemed to be a big solid boat. I am looking for some pics if anyone has any.

I just finished a complete rebuild on mu Tempest 32 with twin 502s. You are absolutely right these boats are very well constructed. I had to spend a lot more time and money than I had planned to replace many of the military grade lines and fittings and misc parts. I think they used alot of left over coast guard surplus parts in the assemply of the non government boats. There is a great site for vintage marketing materials from tempest that I found at www.tempestyachts.net

we didnt get out of the shop till 10p then had to get home. ill be back down this sat tho.
