Actually, not bashing, giving real world info. I've never said someone's product sucks. I've given people the info they need to know about a given product from some of my experiences. Sometimes this saves people from making mistakes and saving money, sometimes it helps them make better decisions, sometimes it does nothing.

Thats it, anything that works for the 305 is the same as the 8.3, just different input shaft speeds.

It is my understanding from Superchargers4Less that its a bigger unit then the 5.0 and uses my 8mm pulleys & belts instead of serpentine ???? Lookin on your site for the 305 A page or section

They're 100% identical in physical dimensions. The difference is this, the rotors helix are the opposite direction and the rotors have switched sides. 5.0L has the male rotor on the port side, 8.3L has the male rotor on the starboard side. Because the rotors are switched, the rear port timing is switched (mirrored to the other side), the discharge port is switched (mirrored) and the bearing plate port timing is switched (mirrored). 8.3 drives the large gear, 5.0 drives the small gear.

Everything that bolts on front, on top, on back, on bottom, on sides are the same. Therefore, all changes are internal.

The blower is "bigger" in terms of flow per inputed RPM but has a lower maximum rpm. 11,000rpm on the 8.3 is the same HP to operate, same temp, same airflow, same engine hp, same engine torque as the 5.0 at 18,000rpm.

8mm works on both. The Lucas Oil Outerlimits that won at Key West ran the 5.0L with 8mm belt system. Thats what will be powering it this year through P1. Team HoneyParty ran the 5.0L's all last year and was one of the fastest boats in P1.

Gotcha BIG Daddy and is there a 8.3 quad rotor also ??? I think they spoke of at Superchargers but the girl was lost after the 5.0 and was checkin and have'nt got a call back yet ...thanks for the info

We've done some dual 8.3 for some odd applications but never for a GM V8. We have something bigger coming for V8's.
