I am beyond nice when it come to this. I give full return as long as they pay for shipping BACK, I eat the original shipping. Now I only give a few days to make their mind up, (either you want it or not).
That being said, I see in the classifieds here all the time, and many parts/motors/drives are waaaayy over priced to be used.:evilb: |
They own it. If it was something small fine. but $20k is substantial and they knew what they were buying. Not your problem his wife has him by the balls....:drink:

Sounds like buyers remorse. That is not a good reason for you to take something back. If nothing was wrong with it and the only reason he wants to return it is that he just doesn't want it or changed his mind, then he needs to sell it. If there is a problem with it, or it was misrepresented, then you should take it back or negotiate a new price for it.

Personal responsibility dicates that if someone buys something, it's theirs. Just because they don't like/want it they want to return it? It's a symptom of our entitlement and over consumption society. People shouldn't buy unless it's absolutely what they want. If they change their mind, it's theirs to deal with.
You can do your good deed by putting other prospective buyers in touch with the new owner. You face a little tougher situation because selling things is your business. But you have to draw a line. just my .02 |

Eddie Ditto. And I will add, if its a high $$ item, then they should have inspected it themselves before purchasing it. I wouldn't take it back unless it was a stipulation of the sale spelled out in a written contract. The buyer has the option to resell the item if he so desires. |
What happened here? All these are very logical answers!! :drink:
Fortunately all my used parts went to good guys for good prices and everyone is happy. I was just wondering.... |
I also want to add to my earlier post,
I have seen many posts, and short time OSOers, post chit, say its in good condition, and then its crap. Lets be honest if you can afford this sport, you are smart enough to know if you stuff is crap or quality. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANYONE COMPLAIN ABOUT A USED PART EVER, because I inspect it and know its quality, if its crap I give it away or toss it. WILL |
What do you do when parts are returned and they are not anywhere near the condition you sent them out??
Unreal!! |

This then promotes legislative entities to create laws to protect us from ourselves eliminating even more personal responsabilties and fess up for your acts and contracts. GL Be responsible!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
