Hmmm--would have to say "you own it" on this one. Would certainly try to help resell if that was requested but $20K w/o inspecting?? and now you just "don't want it" Sorry for your loss

Simple. Do not take it back if it is not in same condition as when you sold it. Tell them you used it you own it.

I think a business has slightly more responsibility than a private seller. That being said, on an expensive item, if they didn't take the time or effort to see in person and you disclosed your return policy upfront, thet bought it, they own it.

You take the parts back and remember who not to send stuff to.
I will not do any business with them ever again, one guy here in VA Beach all the dealers know and he can't even get his boat cleaned, no one will touch him. |
as a seller, you need to represent the item the best you can,as a buyer, you need to know what you are buying,a responsable buyer cannot change his[or her] mind after the deal is completed.:party-smiley-004:

Whether its a hull, engine, drive or anything of substantial value (over $ 20K), how would you handle the following situation?
You advertise an item, show pictures of it, answer any question a potential buyer has honestly. They decide to buy the item based on all the above. Once the item is received, they decide its not what they want for some unknown reason other than its not brand new. Nothing is wrong, broke or misrepresented in anyway. They were informed and from the price knew it was several years old and was exactly as described. You have already packed, shipped the item, removed the item from advertised "for sale" sites, and told others that the item was sold. So what would you do? |

If I sold something used and the new owner came back to me with buyer's remorse then that's his problem... he owns it. It's time for individuals to start being accountable for their actions.
