Default Detroit Boat Show

Just read that Miss Geico will be that this years Detroit Boat Show at Cobo Hall, February 14-22, 2009. I wasn't planning on going this year as they never have the Performance Boats there but will make a point to go this year and see Miss Geico and crew that attend the show. www.detroitboatshow.net

I'm planning on going, will be my first one in Detroit. I was also happy to see Geico will be there.

I've heard there's no performance boats there, but I'm hoping Formula at least brings something.

It's dissapointing that at least Sunsation doesn't send a couple boats, seeing as they are the "hometeam".

If your a close distance to the show its worth going for something to do, but you will only maybe see 2 performance boats on display. The last few years there was a 35 Formula Fast Tech there. I do still enjoy browsing the vendor booths and the overall boating atmosphere.

For the performance boater, a total waste of time. If you want to see Miss Geico (and the entire crew), go see her at in the City of St.Clair in the summer (check your calendar). Hey, you can say you went to St.Clair to see Miss Geico, and a race broke out. Imagine that.

Well, I went to the Cobo Show Yesterday and other than a 35 Fast Tech there were no other performance boats from dealers that I recall seeing.
The show was overall smaller this year again with less vendors too.
My group and myself did manage to put the hurt to some Bud Lites though.
