If they even listed it at $55k they have no clue and probably not even worth your time. If they were listed AT nada then maybe as you can probably talk them down as they just used book to start.

For me the $14k don't mean chit other than the boat sustained a lot of damage. Remember that is repairs NOT upgrades! Do a search on boat trader and other online sites, figure out what the model is actually going for and go from there. Damage repair, 400hrs AND nearly $20k over book...i'd walk, no run away! $20k UNDER book? now we're talking.

I gues it makes a huge difference, for starters, as to the brand and model. ie: Bayliner vs Formula

How about $5,000 with no questions after a sea trial

Windshield, bimini, and deck repair around those areas. Apparently nothing structural.....just asthetic and functional stuff.

The issue im having is that there are next to no boats that fit my needs.

26-29ft, cabin cruiser, single screw, no arch, generator and air/AC. Dont want to spend more than 45 this time. Most all are salt water and/or 900 miles away.

A. twice as much cheese as I want to spend.

B. No gen or AC

C. I cant stand up in there. Not a cabin cruiser. I would have just kept my fountain.

About the perfect boat is an 02 260 sundancer without an arch(so i can lift it)

Remember most archs will easily unbolt.

Just giving you some options

I appreciate it, but there isnt one generator there. Im telling you, its difficult to find a boat this size with a gen. The only arches I know that will unbolt are Rinkers....aluminum. But that usually boogers up the bimini system. Its a tuff one. I found THE boat in sacramento....but its over priced and costly to get to me.
