Default New Merc engines

Did Mercury have any new engines at the Miami show? I heard they were coming out with a new line of LS based small blocks.

Didn't have anything like that at the Miami show. Only thing I saw new was the 1025SCI which is the 1075sci de-tuned for 89 octane.

Ray, any performance reports yet, like actual before and after numbers on twin engine rigs? How did that Formula 271 single work out?
Thanks,
Dave

Wink

The market pretty much shut off for us in September October for more of the LSM550's to get to the market.
The few that did get to new buyers have been holed up so far for the winter and we will not have a lot of input back until they get into the water, get dialed in and start producing real world results. We're not worried, we know they work and with a hopefully rebounding performance boating market more should splash this year and in the future. Until then we'll just have to wait for those dribble orders here and there.
Thanks for asking.

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar

Austin,
Can you email me some pics of your boat. I may be building a new deck for my 32 spectra and really like the looks of your boat.
thanks for your help.

PS It looks very similar to my previously owned 93, 28' Challenger.

Jim Darr, the famous "Mercury insider". Did you do the engineering for these new motors Jim? Also, I'm sure you went to Lake X to do the testing? GO AWAY!
