Thank GOD the world isn't black and white and we have so many choices of great boats to purchase and love on, and if you get lucky love in :D . If I have fun in my boat and you have fun in your boat and we can sit around at the end of a great day of boating and have a few cocktails and entertain ourselves who gives a **** what MFG of boat you have. The boats that MY friends have runs the whole spectrum of MFG's, and we don't care who's you drive, it's the fact that you DO drive :D .

Correct me if I am wrong. I think the whole thing started with a few A/T owners beating their chests about how much better they were then Cigs, Outerlimits etc. One quote I remember was how
mid 90s Cig cabins were falling apart and such. Thats when I jumped in to defend my choice. And now the A/T guys are tired of hearing about it? Who was it that started all the crap in the Apache forum, an A/T guy, whats up with that?

As RLT said, It's great that we have the options of so many boats to choose from but I'd run against an AT anyday in the rough stuff (8-10s our specialty) in our Outerlimits.

H20---I am merely expressing my opinion about a group of boat owners...if a bunch of yes-men that owned Donzis or Cigarettes came on the board and pulled the same crap you guys have, I'd say the same thing, so go cry me a river... Please go back and re-read my post and those of others that agree with me here...

As for the performance of your boat, I don't doubt it will perform well, but yer talkin alot of smack about a boat you haven't even run yet. :)

Personally, for me, I would never own an AT for the very reason that I initiated this thread.

Well I'll say this one more time. The only one's pissing on here are the non AT owners who are slamming us for letting others know how happy we've been with our purchase. Do I Like Cigs, Apaches, Outerlimits and all the rest...hell yes. They're all awsome machines. I made my choice for my own personal reasons. Its that simple. I let others know what those reasons are. It's that simple. I don't slam other boats or those that chose to go another why. I don't slam others that want to talk about why they chose what they chose. So Sean and Ike and the rest ....WHY SLAM ME. Be happy with what you own and let everyone know why. Thats what this board is all about.

Robert, I will be down in Ft. Myers for the offshore races in May. Had to drop my FPC membership as I just wasn't going to get much chance to go to any of the runs this year. My girlfriend and I are talking about moving to FLorida after my divorce is all finalized and I know exactly what I have left...lol. Would love to go out and run with you in that big awsome Apache.

You don't know me or my experince or knowledge. So how can you call me a yes-man or any of the others things you have call ALL of the AT faithful. It is a direct attack on ME. Whether you singled me out or not by generalizing that is exactly what you've done. I have told othes of my experiences with doing business with a fine company who makes a great product and that bugs you. Sorry for you that you have a problem with that but I will continue to tell people who ask, my opinion.

Thunder Dan-I was at the AT factory Tuesday nad saw your boat. LOOOOOKING REEEAL GOOOOD!!!!! The new interior desisigns and all the stainless fittings and the M&M throttles and such arethe cats' meow. This thread has done wonders for Pat and Steve. The phones are ringing oof the walls and Steve staying so busy that he has run his self down to catching a cold and I thought I would have to have the phone surgically removed from his ear just so we could visit and look at all the new stuff they are doing. If I were you I'd be dieing for my new boat and would just have those HP's put in so I could hurry up and get in the water.
