How do you like the warranty?:

One Year Ltd. for Recreational Boating, 3-Year Ltd. Corrosion.

What exactly is: Recreational Boating ?

Here is the link

I was thinking of trying to get a OSO group discount from ASM and maybe a builder to do port matching, like Tyler Crockett?? Waiting to see how many here are interested?

In addition to closed cooling (more consistent temperatures), I believe the 525 also has distributorless ignition (more precise ignition timing) and sequential port injection instead of batch-fire injection. Between these 3 items, it makes most of the additional 25 horsepower through being "smarter".

Default 525 efi

Paul Pfaff has a new 600 efi that looks almost idenical but has another 100 hp , one year warranty, dynoed, blueprinted etc. Not that Merc is bad , but I think you can get a lot more bang for the buck. check it out . ask them to email pictures.

Anyone have pricing on the 525EFI as a package with the ITS gimbal and new XR drive. Or just the motor?

TODDW,

Did you get a price on the 600 efi from them?

Default My crystal ball says that I should consider changing my name from hp500 to hp525 :D

Troutly, I agree two of them babies under the hatch would be real sweet.

This boat buying is like buying computers there is never a good time to buy because right around the corner is something new that you wish you had waited for.

No doubt hp500efi, that is why I have not bought a truck yet. I still may not until after the 2003 model year GMs come out.
