Per the owner, the cable snapped. And I must say he is taking this quite well and is in very good spirits considering the events of the day.

$hit happens...but holy $hit that's some expensive $hit to happen in the middle of the street.

Is it cheaper to replace props and drives than it is to do the gel/paint/glass/carbon repair?

The red and black Formula 357 on the side of the road was my old boat. I sold it last year to a guy that flipped it off the trailer and he apparently didn't have any insurance...:eek:

Yea it could have been alot worse...he could have had both sets of #6 props on there, I guess 35,000 dollars plus the price of traffic control, crane fees and so on, no big deal.:rolleyes:

But hell the way Nor-Techs slide off of trailers, they either have carpet with microscopic rollers on them, or 3,000hp trucks to tow them:drink:
