AGI is the way to go, to use analog guages on newer digital engines. Here are mine mounted under the dash of the Skater.

Can the AGI box be used in a 496 boat with the 9 pin main harness without switching to the 14 pin main harness? I'm in the process of installing a 14 pin rigging kit but it is causing more problems than it is fixing. Now my tabs are completely dead and I still can only trim up in trailer position and the trim gauge doesn't work.
