I thought it looked pretty nasty as well. Another opinion was that it was from a "fresh shampoo" and a "bad pic"?????

Didn't see that. I'm color blind so that doesn't help. I will ask more about this tomorrow when I speak to Scott directly.

They take alot of trades and do alot of business, so it wouldnt be too crazy for them not to know too much about the boat. If its clean and you are in agreement with the price go for it!!

Sooty probabaly because the engines are running rich at idle to compensate for the chargers. Thats typical and nothing unusual.

Prochargers are very reliable. If they are SC then you simply make sure you change the oil per Prochargers recommendations, if they are not, keep up on your engine oil changes. Nice as they create torque and power usually after the boat planes out, reducing torque on the drives until you are moving.

Scott and everyone at Shogrens are very good people to deal with. Good luck and enjoy your new boat! Actually those are more like condos!!

Thumbs up Here's what you need to know.

The STBD drive is off the boat, when it came to us it had a leak so we are putting new seal kit in it. Seal kit will be here Friday.

The port drive is not milky, it’s the color of the TORCO oil that BMAX recommends.

The motors are not rebuilt, they were new ZZ502 long blocks installed by David Wade Marine

The A/C and Genset were replaced in past 18 months.

The cockpit carpet, cockpit interior, cockpit cover were all new last summer.

The boat runs good, great acceleration for a boat this big. Runs 80MPH.

The original motors made it 400 hours before they were pulled out and replaced.

For the "money", it's ALOT of boat.

Does it need a little love here and there, yes.

The clear coat is not perfect but again, it's a 99K big boat with alot of new parts.

As with any used boat we recommend that you get a third party, non bias survey, we have NOTHING to hide on our boats.

What else would you like to know?

Regards,

Scott Shogren

I have been talking to Shogrens about this ride. I have never had and don't know chit about prochargers. We have come to a numbers agreement but I need to know about mill maintenance with the prochargers. What about the B Max drives?

BT's are very nice boats!
My good friend has a 46' with 900's and it runs high 80's at 6ooo ft elevation.
Damn big boat, lots of cabin room!
Considering the above, sounds like a good deal on a nice big boat.

That's a good looking boat, but have you looked at Joe Murray's 43BT for sale with big N/A power and #V drives? It's a strong setup and it sounds like it is in a little better shape.
