I do not understand the WI comments but this was on CNN this morning with the Union employees saying they have done enough and they are not willing to give any more.
Sounds like a labor issue

i think weve bailed out to many people now, we run a small buisness and could use some help but they would not even think of helping us. the cash for clunkers was the worse thing for the economy , 2billion dollars all that did is put someone in a new car that in 6months most likely will get repoed, there are other ways to get the economy to improve, the first thing is to quit listening to all the gloomy new about how bad it is, spend your money like you did, by that boat, car, etc that youve been wanting. the more put in the economy the more revenue the gov will have.

While I agree that this thread is about the stupidity of the rank and file that voted to eliminate their employment, the tax scenario of this state from both a business and personal perspective is absurd...
...I have a couple of more years here for family reasons and they will do without my contribution as well.

what the union workers should have done is abolish the union, then go to Mercury with a plan to keep them working, keep Mercury happy and keep food on the table and tell the union to get F'd.....instead the union brainwashes the workers to keep their own pockets greased.....
