Quite a few including my office and shop have taken pay cuts to keep employement full but we are not union.
Good point, along with the tax incentives.

Not sure how the first one is WI fault, seems to me to be the union on that one.

Bring those 800+ jobs to union free Oklahoma. We will welcome them with open arms and corporate tax cuts.....

I do not understand the WI comments but this was on CNN this morning with the Union employees saying they have done enough and they are not willing to give any more.

Sounds like a labor issue

While I agree that this thread is about the stupidity of the rank and file that voted to eliminate their employment, the tax scenario of this state from both a business and personal perspective is absurd...

...I have a couple of more years here for family reasons and they will do without my contribution as well.

what the union workers should have done is abolish the union, then go to Mercury with a plan to keep them working, keep Mercury happy and keep food on the table and tell the union to get F'd.....instead the union brainwashes the workers to keep their own pockets greased.....
