yep been there in a 30 spectra with tripp 2.5s doing 90 in a pokerrun with 3 to 5s. boat flew even once in a while a outside prop would land 1st and push the boat around. but it never hit hard like some 32 hustlers I have been in or other 28 to 32 footers. cats land soft even 24 skaters we jump a wake from a big sf one afternoon well a few, I was oh **** we hit flew over and came down with ease.

Not saying it can't but I'd love to see a video. Tons of videos out there of 28-30 Vs in spread out 3-4s but I can't find any videos of under 30' cats doing it.

Even back when good offshore racing was on TV (2002 if I remember correctly) there were a couple races that had some big water(Cape Cod?) and I never saw a under 30 cat run like the Factory One guys.

Find some vids of the Great Lakes Silver Cup Series. There were several races with the 28 cat can doo and everyone else in there class tearing up some ruff seas.

This was a great thread and something I was curious about too....
But it seems the answer to the question is a definite maybe, with these 28 skaters in rough water, right?

The Secret Agent video and the Pantera video show totally different water conditions. We're talking "calm" in the Secret Agent and "moderate" in the Pantera video- "rough" is something you would't want to go out in.
