Yep....I agree that it probably wont' work in that way. Sorry my good man! I didn't have time to read the whole thread but the one I sent a link on is totally solid-state (flash). There is no hard-drive. Sounds like you got it all worked out! Fixed cam is great. The one I linked is great for everything else.....kids going down the slide.....it's a nice replacement for the 8mm movie cam my dad had.
