Depth Guage purchase
I want to buy a depth guage for my boat and have a question.
Is there anything special to look for in a guage? Is there one brand that is "better" than the others? Or since I already have all Faria guages, should I just get the Faria to keep the look consistant?
So, is it looks, performance, price, or what that distinguishes one guage from the next?
anyone have good or bad experience with a particular depth guage?
thanks,

Baja, from experience, not on mine but hundreds of others stay away from teleflex depth guages, as far as Fariah, no experience, lowrance 3500 is a good unit and so is Standard if you are looking for 2 1/8 guage.

Baja232,
Take a look at this unit from Humminbird. I had one in my Hammer and it worked flawlessly. The gauge comes in either black or white and looks really good installed. It'll match your faria's pretty nicely(I also had faria's in the hammer). It installs into a standard hole for 2 1/8" instruments.
