Comparing Apples to Oranges??

I think the biggest differences between the HP525EFI's and the Merc 600SCI's will be the intial cost difference and the total operating hours between overhauls. I think most 525's go about 750 hours or so between overhauls and I understand 600SCI's do about 250-400hours depending on how driven and used! These will be your two biggest differentials notwistanding the 100HP and torque difference between the two. Both outstanding performance engines!
