what size prop what is that hull rated at Hydromotive P5x 30-31 pitch at 6100 rpm should get me there. I am now doing 92.5-93.3 spinning a 30 P5x at 5600 rpm. (91.5-92.1 every day) There are several Nordic Heats in the 90-96mph range that are quite stable.(mine is one of them) There are three Heats doing over 100 mph that I know of with the fastest doing about 112 mph. They all report hull stability at those speeds. Chris |

Chris Thanks! What if we leave the motors stock we still need to freshern up the bottom at 300? |
I believe Merc recommends 400 hrs on the 700sci and 500hrs on the 600sci... I might be wrong, but that is what I remember from my owners manual.

Dustin just e-mailed this graph showing the difference between stock..stage I, and stage II torque and horsepower.
We are still waiting for my CNC ported heads to come back so we can bolt them on and continue testing. Chris |
We just got a exhaust header/tailpipe assembly water redo from Mercury Racing that said there was a problem with headers over heating if there is a shortage of water to the headers from a water pump failure for example and water winds up in the motor
Does the water re-route kit fix this problem as well or should a automatic header drain kit be installed I could really use some help making a decision with this I have a copy of the paper mercury sent us if I need to scan and post I will for anyone to see |
