I had mine boating at 5 months and 11 months. It takes them a while to used to the noise and wind. Most of the time, they will be in their infant carrier anyway. Not to mention, they don't like PFD's, but will get used to them. My wife boated until she was about 6 months pregnant. probably would have gone longer, but the season was over.

So true... I put Justin's PFD on every night for a few minutes for him to get used to it...

My son was boating at 1 month, first overnight at 3 months. Biggest issue is keeping them out of the wind and sun. Changes the way you drive! Saves a lot of gas too.

Wow. How refreshing to see parents that aren't overprotective and freak out when the wind blows the wrong way on their kid(s). Thanks!

Just use good judgement and enjoy. Find a good infant lifejacket and use it. We used a bouncy set last year between the seats and just slowed down....a little

had my daughter out when she was 4 months old... use a good infant life jacket and take it easy. she would fall asleep the minute i turned the key - she is 5 now and gets excited everytime she sees an offshore boat or hears a loud engine
