This is a huge step totally state of the art marine racing engine! The only question now is what will it cost, engine and drive?? I am sure it will be a high cost package, the only real question is how high??

I have to say that I have never really been impressed with Merc engines in the past. They have never really been anything special, as far as hp and such. They looked OK and they ran good, but nothing out of the ordinary. However, that is a very impressive piece right there. My hats off to them.

Mercury is offering a one year warranty on a 1350 HP engine. Incredible. Seems like that could shake up the entire HP engine building industry - if it's priced within reason that is. Fat chance of that though.

I hear Reggie is going to offer a single engine 42 fountain with a 1 year warranty and a bow thruster for manuverability.

Should be a beast
