Jim,

I would appreciate it if you would leave this thread alone. I am asking serious questions here and you have your bs. If you want to discuss something I said on another website please go over there and discuss it with me can it be that hard. I will say I am going to be busy for a few days so if you do manage to get on there and get kicked off before I can comment it is not my fault.

I think it was said here somewhere that magazines are on the way out. I cant say i really believe that. Personally i cant stand E magazines and loose interest real quick. I want a hard copy off a news stand. Besides my Wifi's not to good in the bathroom :D

I was thinking the same thing but didn't have the guts to post it.

I do like getting my monthly magazines also, but I think the masses want more. I can make it through a magazine in a little over an hour.

Don't forget another thing, technology, I am reading this post and replying to it from my Droid cell phone. It has wifi runs as fast as my computer and i can access the net from anywhere anytime. I am not restricted to reading what is published in a single mag. I think it would be very hard to start a magazine now, unless like mentioned it was a group effort with the work done pro-bono.

I would love to see a speed channel or spike TV show on high performance boats, I think teague would be one who has the clout to make that happen.

I'd buy the magazine for sure. I agree with GlassDave, I can't stand reading E Magazines. Throughout the day I spend plenty of time on the computer with work, etc, and like actually having a physical magazine in my hand. Just my 0.02

You have my subscription! If you look at the "boating on a budget" section you will see how popular that is becoming. I love boating but I am not in the tax bracket to be able to go out and buy a 200k boat. In regards to magazines on there way out it does seem like that is the trend but personally I agree with glassdave. My wifi works fine in the bathroom and catching up on oso from my iPod is nice but the magazine definetly has it's fit!

Great Idea!!
need something that doesn't need electricity to enjoy.
Something you can read on a boat, dock or beach, leave out on the coffee table for others or enjoy in the crapper!!
