Great story

Shame the coast guard did not use descretion and say report to the court and pick up the gun in key west

Would have saved everyone alot of time and trouble

But then we would have not had this cool story

Afterr the court case the Coast Guard officer offered an appology to Wally which he had trouble accepting. I think he said something like "too little, too late." I am trying to remember if he got his gun back and think that he could not because he was technically guilty of the offense.

Wow. The navigation part is what I find amazing. Waypoints, plotter, finding a tiny spec in a big ocean... wow. Where I boat, you can always see land. Again, wow.
