Default key west, where to stay?

I am trying to plan a trip to key west for the first week of march. It has been ten years since I have been there. Where is a good place to stay for a guy and his lady who are trying to relax for a few days without screaming kids.

Key Lime inn. Lots of parking, off of Duval but within walking distance of the strip & harbor.
Please go to Salsa Loca & see my friend Nancy. Be sure to tell her I told you ask for a BFB (Big F*cking Burrito).

We stay at the Pilot House, its a great, quite and adult only facility. Its a cross between a Bed & Breakfast and Hotel. I would highly recommend it and to give it a shot. Only place we'll stay now and I've done the big hotels down there.

We'll actually be there on 2/27 & 2/28 and then heading up to Daytona for Bike Week.

Depends on what you are looking for, you have every possible choice you can make. The only thing I can tell you, stay at the west end of the island. Thats where everything is. You probably will walk or ride a scooter, and it will be easier on that end of the Key. The other side is very quite, if thats what you are looking for, but its not close to the sea ports, or most of the bars, resturaunts, ect. We like it here, its old, but most everything in Key West is. http://www.keywestharborinn.com/
