Sorry I cant see a serial number and I really dont want to call the guy I was just curious. I tried to get him to e-mail better pics of the interior in the fall and he never responded. I think this guy is up to no good!

Wouldn't call him dishonest right off the bat...maybe just doesn't know the difference. I've got twin 7.4's in my boat and had to actually do some poking around to find out the difference when I was buying. Give him a call and ask him...Sunny owners tend to be pretty friendly. My money is it's a 310hp/7.4...pretty standard in the Aggressors. Drive looks fine..I have showers and still get the chalky buildup in Lake Erie. Boat should do upper 60's if stock.

No, it could not be. As stated, its a 7.4 which is rated at 310hp and its not a magnum engine. 454 Magnums will say "454 Magnum" on the cowl. The only way its a 454 mag is if the cowl was replaced.
No 454 mags with that cowl were 385hp ever. If it were a magnum engine with that type of cowl, it would be a carbed engine and would be 365hp.

All I have right now is the hull ID number if that will tell you then fine otherwise. The boat is covered with this 22 degree weather I have right now I wont be able to get them back on. No motor work has been done to this boat. SP325144K596. Sunsation confirmed that this is a 454 mag last summer when he discussed prop changes. Currently is running the original stock 25 3 blade which is a good indicator that this is a 385HP engine. Most boats in other brands of this size run a 23 3 blade stock.

Lots of boats with 7.4's and 454mags use the same prop. The magnum engine boats, just spin at 400rpms higher.
It is definately not a 385hp 454 mag. They were all EFI/MPI and did not have plastic cowl cover. It could be a carbed 454 mag/365hp, if and only if, the plastic cowl was maybe broken and replaced with a 7.4 cover.
