No it's a 40SS and if you count the lenght of the bustle the overall length is 44+ feet.

That's the way builders should market their boats. Don't say it's a 44' boat if the hull is 40' with a 4' swim platform or transom extension. Call it what it is, a 40 foot hull. That way, the prospect will be even more impressed when you tell him it's longer than advertised.

It could be designed to be removable very easy, wouldn't be hard for Pete to figure out. Gino, Skater has a all new 43' coming out in the fall and a removable hard top would be no problem.

I like the flip-top concept and I kinda like the "wings" too - just something different. However, I think with a more "modern", different paint/interior color scheme, the boat would take on a completely different look. I'll reserve judgement until we see what the next 40LS looks like.
